Location-based services and the geoweb, in confluence with social media, are hot areas of interest for venture investors. This session will cover specific sub-sectors of the geoweb and highlight areas of opportunity. Areas to be covered will include: different media outlets (e.g. web, mobile, car, voice) as well as service areas (e.g. social networking, entertainment, navigation, telematics) and enabling technologies (e.g. ad networks, locationing, embedded voice, data aggregation, map databases).
