Guiding Users (No GPS Required!)

CellGuided is a “location based” app since it guides users to various locations. But it doesn’t rely on GPS to do its job. In addition, it doesn’t require a smartphone or any advanced mobile phone functionality. Instead the primary interface is audio and keypad input. This makes the interface much more natural and intuitive. The website allows for the creation of these routes and employs Google maps in a very interactive fashion. This make route creation much easier to learn and use.

This session will explore some of the design and implementation choices made during the development of this platform. Learn how to do more and place less burden on end users.
