Wild Style City is a departure from the clean, polygonal style of existing virtual worlds, immersing users in an environment derived from data collected in real cities. Built using earthmine’s Flash Viewer API, Wild Style City transforms the urban environment into a canvas that every user can modify with a palette of interactive geo-tagging tools. Just like in the real world, no work of art or vandalism is permanent and may be removed or replaced by the community. Unlike the real world, users no longer have the threat of criminal prosecution for publically displaying their masterpiece. Wild Style City is an exploration into what people create when given the ability to more freely express themselves and their ideas in real world places.
As founder and co-CEO, Anthony leads earthmine’s business development, sales and marketing activities in the United States and abroad. Anthony holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley and is the co-inventor of earthmine’s core technology. Anthony has also represented the company at numerous conferences, including presentations at Demo, Where 2.0, and SPAR.
