Alec Berntson is a Program Manager at Microsoft Corporation. He has been striving to make location aware applications ubiquitous through his work on the Windows 7 Location platform. An advocate of user privacy, Alec is also a member of the W3C’s Geolocation Working Group. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in computer science from Cornell University.
