Christine Schweidler is the Senior Research Manager at the Healthy City Project, where she oversees project-based qualitative and quantitative research design and analysis. She is currently engaged in several concurrent research projects, including analysis of multicultural health disparities in California, community-based health and hazard assessment in the City of Los Angeles, childhood obesity prevention programming in Los Angeles County, and gun violence, crime and safety in Los Angeles County.

The Healthy City Project's (HC) open access GIS web-based platform improves the accessibility of services to low-income, underserved families. HC allows users to add their own data to an extensive resource base on www.healthycity.org. HC works to ensure sensible public policies that are based on sound data and will improve the quality of life for all communities throughout California.
