Will Carter is a mobile developer, primarily for the iPhone, and mostly for game, or game like experiences that leverage location, like play.mobzombies.com and fourface.nodesnoop.com. In this talk, Will has created 12 easy steps for building location based applications, that, while slightly on the humorous side, are also rather insightful, and very much tuned into the way that he goes about developing interesting and fun stuff.
Will Carter is the founder of Nodesnoop Labs, a small mobile development company based in Los Angeles. He is the creator of Mobzombies, an iPhone Game built on the Foursquare API where players’ physical movement controls their game character. His work has been exhibited at the Wired Nextfest, and has been featured in such publications as the New York Times, Boing Boing, Techcrunch, and Engadget.
He is a graduate of Brown University and received a master’s degree from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he studied interactive media.
