Brian Leonard is TaskRabbit’s VP of Engineering, responsible for the architecture, engineering, and overall design of the application.

Brian joined TaskRabbit from IBM, where he served for six years as a Software Engineer working on the Lotus Notes, transitioning the client into an Eclipse-based platform. Brian was responsible for design and leadership in large functional areas including search, application development, text analysis, and simple things that turn out to be hard like opening up mail documents.

A Clemson University graduate with a BS in Computer Engineering, Brian earned his MBA from Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Business Administration. Originally from Texas, Brian loved living in Boston, but couldn’t handle the cold weather. He now lives in the SF Bay Area.
