Dr. Youssef is the founder & CEO of Wireless Stars Inc., a company focusing on enabling LBS in the MENA region. Before founding Wireless Stars, he spent 4 years at Google building Google LBS team, and launching “My Location” technology. Dr. Youssef is the winner of Google Founders award for Innovation. He received a PhD in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park in 2006. He has over a dozen of patents in the area of location determination, pervasive computing, and sensor networks.
