Website | @dthompson

Mick Thompson has done web development for many years for several different startups, ranging from realtime search to image and location sharing. He is an O’Reilly author with a book that explores new open source tools for location data. He enjoys being distracted by learning and using new and better technologies, with a special interest in anything that will make the Internet faster. In 2012 he is working on making government web technology work more effective with Code for America. When Mick is not online you might find him jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.
