Dave is involved in several aspects of MapBox operations. From consulting with MapBox Premium subscribers to driving product development and business strategy, Dave is well-versed in using open source tools to make beautiful interactive maps.

Dave has began working with open source mapping while at the White House as a Senior Advisor to the CIO. He also managed the technology development of WhiteHouse.gov. Previously he served as a data analyst on Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign.

Dave has spoken as a keynote presenter and panelist as several conferences and has led open source mapping training sessions.He is a graduate of Rutgers University.
