Elena Krasnoperova is senior director of PayPal Mobile Business Operations. She leads global strategy, analytics, and business operations for all of PayPal’s mobile products and new mobile initiatives.

Krasnoperova began her business career as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group, where she helped large technology and financial services companies accelerate growth, launch new products and expand internationally. She then joined eBay/PayPal, holding several strategic roles in PayPal and eBay Marketplaces over the course of seven years.

Krasnoperova left PayPal to join the executive team of a successful mobile payment startup, Zong, where she was responsible for global Analytics, Risk Management and Customer Support. She rejoined PayPal in August 2011, after PayPal acquired Zong. She is passionate about combining the speed and flexibility of a startup with the resources and scale of an established global payments leader to bring innovative mobile solutions to consumers and merchants around the world.

Krasnoperova received a Ph.D. in Psychology from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wellesley College.
